Hi everyone,

Effective in April of 2012, the Board of American Kennel Club has  approved new Rally regulations. There are some changes/clarifications of class procedures and judging. Most important though is that there are about a dozen new signs added to the current list, several of which are in Novice. You can read all of the new information at the AKC website here: http://www.akc.org/pdfs/about/board_minutes/1111.pdf . The Rally info is at the very end of the report. Remember that anything underlined is a change from the current rules/regulations.

The new signs are just variants of the skills required by the old signs. The only real change is the introduction of an early version of a pivot which we started last week. And you’ll have until April to perfect them.
